Hey there, this is Federico Masini.
Based in Turin, northern Italy, traveling around.
Photographer, loves his job.
Fan of Nietzschean philosophy, Edgar Allan Poe, Kurt Vonnegut, T.S. Eliot, William Blake, Black Metal, Lars Von Trier, shitty movies, Great Old Ones, teardrops, big explosions, penguins and giga robots.
His photographs have been published in Elle, Monocle, Vice, Collater.al, Corriere della Sera, La Repubblica, La Stampa, among other Italian and international newspapers. Winner of the Imagenation prize at the Liquida Photofestival 2022 and shortlisted in LensCulture's Critics' Choice 2022 competition, his work has been exhibited at the East London Photography Festival 2018, the Liquida Photo Festival 2022, Imagenation Milan 2022, at PHOS in 2017 and 2022, at ArtGallery37 in 2017, among others. In December 2022 he held his first solo exhibition in Turin at Spazio Musa.
He works and/or has worked with Amaro Montenegro, British Airwais, Kappa, Fiat, José Cuervo, FuturFestival, Movement Festival, FDS and other cool situations.
